Ambassadors for Christ
It is our joy and duty to know God and to make Him known. We delight in sharing with others the good news that Jesus saves sinners. We believe that trusting Christ at His Word transforms our obedience into a thrilling adventure of faith.
"Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God" (2 Corinthians 5:20).
Reformation of Families
We believe the Lord calls us to multi-generational faithfulness, which requires that we attend carefully to the training up of our children and to the management of our homes. With the current, low regard for covenant marriage in our culture, it is imperative that we turn to the Bible for restoration and reformation. God's desire for faithful marriages that produce godly children (Malachi 2:15) has not diminished. We must once again believe God's declaration that children are a blessing. We are to raise and educate them for His glory.
"Behold, children are a heritage from the Lord, the fruit of the womb a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior are the children of one's youth. Blessed is the man who fills his quiver full of them!" (Psalm 127: 3-5a).
Great Commission Embassies
We believe unity in the body provides the Biblical backdrop needed for effective disciple-making. Our love for one another “adorns the Gospel” (Titus 2:10). In order to serve God effectively as a team of ambassadors for Christ, we feel it is wise to equip each family together as a team. Then every home can become an embassy of God’s kingdom—a place where others “taste and see that the Lord is good” (Psalm 34:8).
"All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them inthe name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you" (Matthew 28:18-20).
Turning the Hearts of Fathers to Their Children
We believe that God has strategically placed men in the crucial role of raising their children, along with their wives, of course, in the fear and instruction of the Lord. We believe that the prophetic turning of the hearts of the fathers to their children is a spiritual prerequisite to the restoration of families in our community and in our nation (Malachi 4:5-6).
